are they unaware, being dicks, stupid, ?? In some states it's illegal to not maintain the min. speed in the fast lane. but here, well, i've seen all kinds of driving screwballs, but that mentalitiy, i just don't understand it!!!

I don't tap my breaks cz it could cz a panic adrenal reaction & they already got too much testosterone goin on; I just take my foot off my gas pedal so my car barely noticeably sslloowwwssss down.... Usually they assume They were movin' too fast, gettin' too close & their nice nice car/truck might get a nasty bump if they hit my lil old slow movin Subi ass.
I especially like it if you get to see the person shotgun expressing fear or comments............... -

Tue, June 14, 2005 - 9:52 AMdoncha just love w/ the traffic is just clippin along normal 65, 75, 95 and the man, any the man pulls on ramp and the brakes go on all lanes become snarled like indie pace cars. they must be laughing their asses off. half the time they're hauling loads, running errands, etc. but once in awhile they'llmess with ya, and pace an exit or two just to let ya know, "we're bored". -

Ours used to have time to pace people cz it was like a speed tunnel & we knew each other by small town families. But now the accident rate in the area has multiplied with the population. I know it is Friday by the squeal of brakes on 101 & the sirens this way, than that , to accidents often at the same spot.
We have commuters- fast, tourists- slow oh look at the cow! Is that buzzard eating the insides marge?, RVs- slower cz I don't know how to drive this thing but I can afford it so there, Kindergatens on wheels (moms in vans they can't drive normally with 5 christian children they are 'teaching') stopping going stopping, construction guys going no where fast (especially county employed) they only have 1 finger, old retirees- just bad drivers, old old drivers that have lived here since it was literally a 2 laned paved road & still think it is - they own it, the kids that have their 1st car -really fast & loud, the phone & talk drivers -slow in the fast lane, the just left the winery tasting room going south in the north bound lanes & the I gotta get outta LA before everyone else speeders. Ka Boom!!!
& for the most part of the county there is No alternative route between towns; they all connect to a 2lane each way 101........
Personally I laugh my ass of at the newbies & the go thrus cz I have driven it twice a day at least for 20 yrs (I am considered to be a speeder by locals) & they get so hot up to speed where you know they can't get any where or the cops always are waiting on the next ramp to signal the next one to catch em......
Rear ending on the freeway is big buisness in this county I'd bet.
